XBox 360 Sales Makes Impact in The UK

The sales of Microsoft XBox 360 have increased in the UK after the company slashed the price through out Europe two weeks ago. Meanwhile the sales of Sony’s PSP has suffered and it hopes to see an increased sale with the launch of a slim line PSP later this week.

XBox, now selling at Euro 179, is way much cheaper than the PSP and consumers are lapping it up. Sony says the new launch of PSP coupled with additional features such as increased storage, and a Blue-ray player thrown in might make PSP a better option.

However since the gaming industry is replete with examples of cheaper consoles selling better, it should be seen as to how the market behaves.
