The gorgeous new Apple iMacs are not the only sleek desktops announced this Summer. Behold the new Sony VAIO LT PC and TV in one, featuring a 22" display featuring XBRITE-HiColor, wireless keyboard with fold-up palm rest, integrated 1.3 megapixel camera and echo-cancelling microphone, built-in wireless 802.11n LAN, and optional Blu-ray Disc optical drive. An Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM and a discrete graphics card handle graphics-intensive games and HDTV entertainment, and the VAIO LT PC/TV lets you watch and record analog, digital and cable TV, including premium HD channels. The packge includes Windows Vista Ultimate with Media Center functionality, a remote control, and an optional external cable TV tuner that works with a CableCARD from most local cable provides.
The VAIO LT PC/TV comes in a standard version, and a high-definition version that features a Blu-ray Disc optical drive (model VGC-LT19U) allowing you to watch high-definition movies, as well as record, store and play back content on high-capacity BD discs of up to 50 GB. The LT is also wall mauntable with the VESA-compatible mount (not included). Sony came up with a unique wire organizing tab located on the back of the unit that helps keep wires hidden.
