SanDisk's new Sansa Clip mp3 player is said to be about the same size as a matchbook, and it includes a very useful removable clip like the latest iPod Shuffle. The Sansa product line is full of great mp3 players, but the Sansa Clip fills a gap with its tiny size and cheap price points. You can pick up a 1GB Sansa Clip, available in black for $40, or the 2GB version, available in red, pink, and blue for $60. For that price, these should sell like hotcakes come the holiday season.
Along with playing MP3 and WMA tracks, as well as subscription music downloads from Rhapsody, SanDisk has packed a good amount of features in the Sansa Clip including a four-line OLED screen, FM radio and recorder, and a built-in mic for voice recordings. The player has a four-way control pad, and a standard mini USB port, but no expansion card slot unfortunately. Look for the Sansa Clip to be released in September.
