Sonic 2 on Xbox Live Arcade

Bad news everyone; Microsoft wants its points back, and its raking them in on Wednesday with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Xbox Live Arcade. We dare you not to buy it.

Arguably (as in we'll fight you in the pub over it) the best in the series, Sonic's second caper is coming in with the usual "enhanced" graphics (i.e. they've made the pixels blurry), online races and leaderboards.

Unfortunately the rankings are still based on points rather than speed, but maybe that's a problem Sega will fix with the inevitable release of Sonic 3 on XBLA.
