Big news from the Penny Arcade gang today -- their debut video game, Penny Arcade Adventures: On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, will be available on Xbox Live Arcade in early 2008.They're showing the game off, here at PAX. Kind of. There's a big booth on the exhibit floor, but all you can do is create your own 3D Penny Arcade-style character. This is not to say that this is not a compelling exhibit for the tens of thousands of Penny Arcade fans here at the expo. They line up to do it. But although they're doing live demos of the game, you can't get hands-on with anything except the character generator.
But hey -- when it does come out, you'll be able to play it on Xbox instead of your PC, if you so desire. And I do. It'll also ship on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
