The Carlos Tevez transfer saga is heading to Britain's High Court.West Ham was served with a High Court writ from Tevez's adviser Kia Joorabchian on Tuesday - the same day that FIFA recommended the dispute be settled by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.Tevez wants to move to Manchester United, and Joorabchian, who owns the striker's economic rights, has organized the transfer. But West Ham won't release Tevez's Premier League registration because it has not taken any part in the deal.England's Football Association had wanted world soccer's governing body to help, but FIFA said West Ham and Tevez should seek arbitration at the Swiss-based CAS, world sport's highest court."This was deemed to be the best approach in the interest of all parties," FIFA spokesman Andreas Herren said. "It is also believed to be the fastest way to solve the dispute."Joorabchian disagreed. Through his companies MSI Group and Just Sports Inc., he began legal proceedings.
